Our Seminyak studio is on Jl. Kayu Aya, two minutes from La Favela, and it's open every day from 9:00 until midnight. That late finish is the reason a lot of people choose it. You can spend the day at the beach, have dinner, and still get a small fine line piece done the same night.

The evening slot
Seminyak runs late, so the studio does too. Afternoons fill with people coming off the beach. The quieter hours are often after dinner.
If you've got a set night in mind, message us that morning with your reference, the placement and roughly how big you want it ("smaller than a credit card" is a perfect answer). We'll tell you what time works and give you a price range before you come in.
Walk-ins are welcome when an artist is free. A small deposit holds a slot if you'd rather not leave it to chance.
One honest note: don't come straight from the beach club after a long afternoon of drinks. A tattoo is permanent and deserves a clear head. Come the next evening instead, we'll still be here.
Booking for two, or for the whole group
Couples, best friends, a birthday trip of four. Matching pieces come up in our messages all the time.
It works best when one person sends the plan for everyone: how many people, the reference, the placement for each, and the night you'd like. Small matching designs can often be done back to back, and we'll tell you up front how long the whole group should expect to be with us.
Placement is personal, even when the design is identical. Your artist may adjust the size slightly for each of you so it sits right on that body part.
What it costs
We price per design, never per hour. You know the exact number before we start.
Small fine line pieces start around 850K IDR, and size, detail and placement move it from there. Send your reference and you'll have a real range the same day. For bigger or complex ideas, the artist offers a free consultation of 20 to 30 minutes and quotes at the end.
Card payments carry a 3% fee. Cash is welcome.

Pool days and fresh ink
This is the part of Seminyak that catches people out. The hotel pool, the beach club pool, the ocean at Double Six. All of it is off limits for a new tattoo.
Plan on two to three weeks without swimming. Chlorine and salt water both soften the healing skin, and fine lines have very little ink to spare. Sun is the other problem, so keep the piece covered with loose clothing for the first weeks rather than lying out with it exposed.
So if your week is mostly pools and sunbeds, get tattooed on your last night. That's what we'd tell a friend.

What fine line does well here
Thin linework suits small, personal pieces: a single flower, a word in your own handwriting, a date, a tiny wave or sun. The flora around you translates beautifully too: frangipani, hibiscus, lotus and palm all work in thin line.
Very small or very detailed ideas get one piece of advice from us: go slightly bigger. Fine lines soften as they heal, and a bit more size keeps the design readable for years. Thin work on fingers, hands and feet fades fast, and we'll tell you before you commit.

The studio
The Seminyak studio is air-conditioned and private, with resident artists covering fine line, realism, floral, geometric and blackwork. Needles are single-use and opened in front of you.
