Amor Fati Tattoo & Piercing ("Amor Fati", "we") operates three studios in Bali, Indonesia and the website amorfati.ink. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

• Booking details, your name, phone number, email, date of birth (to verify you are 18+), and the placement, design references and health information you share so we can tattoo or pierce you safely.
• Messages, conversations with our team on WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok happen on those platforms and are also covered by their own privacy policies.
• Website usage, pages visited, device type and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.
• Photos of finished work, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by messaging us.

How we use it

• To prepare, quote and carry out your tattoo or piercing, including drawing custom work before your session.
• To meet hygiene, consent and age-verification obligations, including signed consent forms we retain.
• To answer questions and manage bookings over WhatsApp or email.
• To measure and improve our website and advertising (see below).

Advertising & analytics

With your cookie consent, we use Meta technologies (Meta Pixel and Conversions API) and Google products (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) to understand how visitors use the site and to show relevant ads on Instagram, Facebook and Google. These tools may process your IP address, device identifiers and the pages you visit, and Meta or Google may transfer that data outside your country under their own safeguards.

You can opt out at any time: decline cookies in our banner, use Meta ad preferences, Google ad settings, or install the GA opt-out add-on. Nothing fires until you consent.

Health data

Allergies, medical conditions and medication you disclose on a consent form are used only to keep the procedure safe, are never used for marketing, and are stored with the signed form.

Sharing

We never sell your data. We share it only with the artist doing your work, the platforms above (in aggregate or pseudonymised form), our booking and payment providers (e.g. Stripe for gift cards), and authorities where the law requires.

Retention

Consent forms are kept for as long as local health regulation requires. Booking messages are kept while your enquiry or aftercare period is active. Analytics data follows the retention windows set in Google Analytics (14 months) and Meta (up to 2 years).

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your data, correction, or deletion (except records we must keep by law), and you may withdraw photo or marketing consent at any time. Message us on WhatsApp or email amorfatitats@gmail.com, we answer within 30 days.
