Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 September 2026 · Applies to amorfati.ink and our Canggu, Uluwatu and Seminyak studios.

These terms cover bookings, sessions and purchases at Amor Fati's three Bali studios and on amorfati.ink. Booking a session or buying a gift card means you accept them.

Age

Tattoos are 21+ with valid government photo ID. Clients under 21 require a parent's or legal guardian's written consent, a copy of which we retain. Piercing minimum ages depend on the placement, ask us first.

Bookings & deposits

  • Custom work is confirmed with a deposit, which is deducted from the final price.
  • Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the session or do not show up; rescheduling with more notice moves your deposit with you, once.
  • In high season we strongly recommend booking ahead; walk-ins are taken when a chair is free. Custom work is never a walk-in.

Pricing

Tattoos are priced per design, agreed before we start, never per hour. Piercing prices are listed on our price list, include selected implant-grade titanium jewellery and 11% government tax; luxury jewellery upgrades are extra.

Touch-ups

One touch-up is included free within our standard policy if you return to one of our Bali studios after healing. High-friction placements (fingers, feet, lips and similar) heal unpredictably, touch-ups there follow the placement consent you sign, and normal fading in those areas is not a defect.

Your responsibilities

  • Tell us about allergies, medical conditions and medication honestly on the consent form.
  • Arrive sober; we refuse service to anyone under the influence.
  • Follow the aftercare guide we give you, healing results depend on it.

Gift cards

Gift cards are sold via Stripe, are valid for 12 months from purchase, are transferable but not redeemable for cash, and can be used at any of our three studios.

Our work

Designs we draw remain our intellectual property until tattooed; we may photograph finished work for our portfolio only with your consent. We may decline any project that conflicts with our standards or ethics.

Liability

We follow single-use needle and hygiene protocols in every studio. To the extent permitted by Indonesian law, our liability is limited to the price paid for the service; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
