About the daith

The daith sits on the ridge of cartilage above the inner ear. It is a thicker fold than most placements, and some ears simply do not have a pronounced enough ridge to hold it well. If yours does not, we will say so rather than take your money.

Aftercare for this placement

  • Expect it to be tender longer than a lobe
  • No sleeping on that side early on
  • Come in for the downsize, a long bar here catches easily

Implant-grade titanium and 14k solid gold. Nothing plated, nothing mystery-metal, safe for sensitive ears. Initial jewellery is fitted longer to allow for swelling, then downsized once the swelling drops, that swap is planned from day one, not sold to you later.
