About the conch

The conch is the cup-shaped centre of the ear. It is thick cartilage and one of the slower placements to heal, but it is also one of the most versatile: a small stud reads quiet, while a ring through it reframes the entire ear.

Aftercare for this placement

  • Headphones will be uncomfortable for a while, use earbuds or over-ears that clear it
  • Do not switch to a ring until we confirm it has healed
  • Saline only, and keep it dry

Implant-grade titanium and 14k solid gold. Nothing plated, nothing mystery-metal, safe for sensitive ears. Initial jewellery is fitted longer to allow for swelling, then downsized once the swelling drops, that swap is planned from day one, not sold to you later.
