About the lobe

The lobe is the fleshy lower part of the ear. Because it is soft tissue rather than cartilage, it heals faster and hurts less than anything higher up, which is why we usually start a curated ear here and build upward over several sittings.

Aftercare for this placement

  • Sleep off it for the first two weeks if you can
  • Saline twice daily, nothing else
  • Downsize the post at 6–8 weeks so the jewellery sits flush

Implant-grade titanium and 14k solid gold. Nothing plated, nothing mystery-metal, safe for sensitive ears. Initial jewellery is fitted longer to allow for swelling, then downsized once the swelling drops, that swap is planned from day one, not sold to you later.
