We take bookings by WhatsApp and through the site. Tell us the idea, roughly where on the body it goes, and the size in centimetres. An artist reads it, asks anything missing, and comes back with a quote and the next free slots at your studio of choice.

In high season we strongly recommend booking in advance, although we can usually offer some spots for walk-ins. Custom work is never a walk-in, it has to be drawn first.

Yes. The deposit holds your slot and covers the drawing time, and it comes off the final price. It is not an extra fee.

It is transferable if you move the appointment with at least 48 hours notice. Inside 48 hours, or if you do not arrive, the deposit stays with the artist who has already drawn the piece.

It depends on the piece. For a big project we encourage booking about two weeks ahead so we can prepare it properly. Small pieces often fit inside a week. If you are in Bali for a short trip, message us before you fly.

Eat properly beforehand, sleep, and drink water. Wear something that gives easy access to the area without you having to undress. Bring a jumper, the rooms are air-conditioned and we do not want you getting cold sitting still.

Please do not. Alcohol thins the blood, which means more bleeding, poorer ink retention and a harder heal. The same goes for turning up hungover.

Yes. We cannot tattoo irritated, sunburnt or peeling skin. Keep the area out of direct sun for about two days before your session.

Yes, no problem. Rooms are small, so one person with you works best.

Per design, not per hour. You get one number before we start and it does not move because the piece took longer than expected. The quote reflects size, detail, placement and how long the drawing takes.

Because it punishes you for our pace and rewards working slowly. A fixed price means you know exactly what you are paying when you walk in.

Yes, usually around IDR 750.000. It covers the needles, cartridges, ink, membrane and the room being set up and broken down for one person, so very small pieces still cost that.

Cash in IDR, card, or bank transfer. The deposit comes off the total, so you settle the remainder on the day.

Not usually. Piercings are generally same-day, though a curated ear planned across several placements is worth booking so we can give it proper time.

Implant-grade titanium and 14k solid gold, threadless where possible. Nothing plated, nothing mystery-metal. Initial jewellery is fitted longer to allow for swelling.

Once the swelling has gone, the longer post is swapped for a shorter one. Skipping it is the main reason piercings migrate or sit badly. It is planned in from the first appointment.

Lobes around 6 to 8 weeks. Cartilage, helix, flat, conch, anywhere from 6 to 12 months. Nostril around 4 to 6 months. Healing is not the same as feeling fine.

Not for the first few weeks. Ocean and pool water in the tropics is the fastest route to an irritated piercing.

Keep the covering on as long as we tell you. After that: clean hands, gentle wash twice a day, pat dry, thin layer of the cream we give you. Do not pick the peel.

Two to three weeks minimum. Bali water and an open tattoo is the single most common reason work heals patchy here.

One free touch-up after healing if you come back to one of our Bali studios. Travel is on you; the work is on us.

Fingers, hands, palms, feet, lips, ears, elbows and knees. These are high-friction, high-movement areas and they fade or blur faster no matter who tattoos them. We have you sign a placement acknowledgement for these so nothing is a surprise.

Usually yes. Skin peels unevenly and ink can look cloudy for a few weeks. Wait until it is fully healed before judging it, then message us if you still want it looked at.

Three studios: Canggu on Jalan Sempol, Uluwatu on Bingin, and Seminyak on Jl. Kayu Aya. Canggu and Uluwatu run 9am to 9pm; Seminyak runs 9am to 9pm.

Single-use needles and cartridges opened in front of you, single-use tubes and grips, barrier film on everything that gets touched, and a logged clean-down between clients.

Yes. Standards and pricing are identical across the three, so book whichever is closest and your artist comes to you.

Please do. Bring references, a rough sketch, a photo, anything. We will draw it properly rather than trace it, and you approve the drawing before we start.

Sometimes. Send a clear, well-lit photo of the existing piece and we will tell you honestly whether a cover-up, a rework or laser fading first is the right call.
